JTS is a registered member of the ECA and has been assessed and accredited to undertake the Design, Installation, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Electrical installations to BS7671, including those in hazardous areas. As such our work is covered by an ECA Bond and the ECA Guarantee of Work scheme.
Our Electrical operatives are JIB registered and hold the necessary certification with full capabilities in undertaking HV/ LV electrical installations to current British Standards.
JTS also have engineers qualified as Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) for the switching and testing of High Voltage Systems.
Our Control and Instrument Engineering team have expertise in specifying, procuring installing, calibrating, testing, commissioning and maintaining control and instrumentation systems for a wide range of industrial process control applications.
Our engineers have in depth knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and are fully conversant with IEC:61508/61511.
We specialise in the design, manufacture and build of electrical, instrument & PLC control panels. We can supply standard enclosures to bespoke units; including the design and procurement of certified control panels for Hazardous area applications, wireless communication solutions, sampling and analytical systems.

Hazardous Area Inspection, Installation and Maintenance
Our engineers are CompEx certified and have specialist Hazardous area knowledge in the Inspection, Installation and Maintenance of electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres.
Our EC&I personnel have been competency assessed and certified through the CompEx scheme to demonstrate safe working practices when specifying, installing, and maintaining ATEX equipment in compliance with the British standard for Explosive atmospheres BS EN 60079.
Our work in hazardous areas is assessed and accredited by the ECA under their approved contractor scheme.
Using our extensive industry experience and training we offer our clients managed inspection programs which ensure Ex equipment and systems, are correctly specified, installed and maintained to comply with BS EN 60079.
Inspection and Testing
JTS provide multi-discipline maintenance support for Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems Our maintenance programs include predictive and preventative maintenance, shut-down planning, routine maintenance, and emergency breakdown response.
In addition, we can help to develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies for your site.
Maintenance engineering includes documentation management, recommendations for spare parts and tools, procurement, procedures, maintenance and inspection planning across all industry sectors. Our team is able to provide long and short-term contract support to services which can be also made available on a 24/7 call out basis for critical customer applications.
